Rancang Bangun Smart Home berbasis IoT Menggunakan Telegram Messenger Bot dan NodeMCU ESP 32

Sistem smart home saat ini telah banyak diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Smart home mampu memberikan keamanan dan kenyamanan pada penghuni rumah. Sistem ini bekerja dengan mengontrol beberapa peralatan rumah tangga. Pada umumnya sebagian besar sistem kendali peralatan listrik rumahan masih bersifat manual yaitu dengan menghubungkan peralatan listrik pada stop kontak atau menekan saklar secara langsung. Penerapan sistem kendali manual seringkali membuat pengguna lupa mematikan saklar atau peralatan elektronik lainya saat sedang keluar rumah. Oleh karenanya, pengguna diharuskan untuk mematikan secara manual dengan kembali ke rumah atau terkadang dibiarkan menyala oleh pemilik rumah. Penerapan sistem kendali yang dapat dioperasikan dari jarak jauh diperlukan untuk mengatasi hal ini. Sistem ini mampu membuat pengoperasian dan pemantauan peralatan listrik menjadi lebih efisien. Pada penelitian ini, prototipe sistem smart home dibuat dengan memanfaatkan fitur chat yang tersedia pada Telegram yang dipakai untuk mengontrol relay modul. Sistem bot pada Telegram digunakan sebagai pengirim dan penerima pesan untuk mengontrol relay modul yang terhubung pada peralatan kelistrikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan Modul NodeMCU ESP32 perangkat lunak Micropython. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji kelayakan rata-rata keseluruhan adalah 84% yang meliputi aspek desain alat, aspek kinerja alat, aspek kemudahan pengoperasian dan implementasi. Penilaian hasil uji kelayakan diberikan oleh narasumber ahli dibidangnya sehingga menunjukkan bahwa prototipe ini sudah cukup baik dan layak untuk diterapkan pada sebuah rumah.

 

The smart home system is now widely applied in everyday life. Smart home can provide security and comfort to the occupants of the house. This system works by controlling several household appliances. In general, most control systems for home electrical equipment are still manual, namely by connecting electrical equipment to a wall socket or pressing the switch directly. The application of a manual control system often makes users forget to turn off switches or other electronic equipment when leaving the house. Therefore, the user must turn it off manually by returning home, or sometimes it is left on by the homeowner. The application of a control system that can be operated remotely is required to overcome this. This system can make the operation and monitoring of electrical equipment more efficient. In this study, a smart home system prototype was created by utilizing the chat feature available on Telegram, which controls the relay module. The bot system on Telegram is used as a message sender and receiver to control relay modules connected to electrical equipment. The method used in this research is Research and Development. The system was developed using the NodeMCU ESP32 Module and Micropython software. Based on the tests conducted, the overall average due diligence result is 84% , including aspects of tool design, tool performance, and ease of operation and implementation. Expert sources assessed the feasibility test results in their fields to show that this prototype was good enough and feasible to be applied to a house.
